Questions

Fair questions, straight answers.

Can my boss or HQ see what I write to Chief?

No. Your Chief is yours — your chats, your voice notes, and everything Chief remembers stay private to you. Your boss only ever sees what you choose to send, like the weekly report you approve and forward yourself. Even the HQ plan never includes access to managers' conversations; that boundary is built into the product, not a setting someone can flip.

What happens right after I pay?

Chief says hej in your WhatsApp within a minute — the phone number you leave at checkout is how it finds you. Say hej back and start talking. There's nothing to install, no account to configure. Chief learns your store as you chat, and your first weekly report ships this Friday.

Does Chief speak my language?

English, Svenska, Dansk, Norsk, Suomi, Deutsch, Español — and more. Chief simply follows your lead. It also works across languages: chat in Swedish, get the report in English if that's what HQ reads.

Why WhatsApp and not an app?

Because you already live there. No new app to download, no login to forget, no dashboard to check. Chief works from the till, the stockroom, and the train home — and voice notes mean you don't even have to type. The best tool is the one that's already open.

What does Chief remember?

Everything you tell it that matters: your store, your team, your boss's preferences, your KPIs, your tasks, and what worked or didn't. It saves facts you actually said — never guesses — and everything it remembers is yours: ask "what do you know about me?" anytime, correct it in chat, or have it erased for good.

How much does it cost?

€20 per month, everything included — no tiers, no add-ons, no usage meters. Cancel anytime in one click. For retail chains there's an HQ plan from €199/month — see pricing.

Can I cancel anytime? What about my data?

Yes — manage or cancel anytime on your subscription page: enter the email you paid with and Stripe sends you a sign-in link. No questions, no lock-in. Your data is yours: if you want it gone, we erase everything on request, permanently, in line with GDPR. If you come back later, Chief picks up right where you left off.

Who is behind The Store Manager App?

Crowd AB, a Swedish company based in Malmö. The product is built hands-on with store managers in Sweden and Denmark, one pilot at a time — if something's off, a person answers at hello@thestoremanagerapp.com.
